Who Needs a Study Permit?

  • Programs over 6 Months: International students enrolled in programs longer than six months require a permit.

  • Minor Students (Under 18/19): Must apply if studying over six months, with a custodian declaration if under 18.

  • Québec-Bound Students: In addition to a study permit, obtain a Québec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) before applying.

Eligibility Criteria for Study Permit

To qualify for a Canadian study permit, you must:
